Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry’s broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment, today announced it has received the 2009 Global Catalog Distributor of the Year award from Tyco Electronics.
This is the first award Tyco Electronics has presented to Digi-Key in recognition of the company’s global distribution of Tyco Electronics products. Digi-Key received the award based on sales growth performance, demand identification and creation, customer expansion, cash improvements and cost reductions/operation efficiency gains.
