Conrad has signed a frame agreement under which it will supply electronic components and related products to Vattenfall, one of Europe’s leading energy companies. Vattenfall is wholly owned by the Swedish government.

The frame agreement covers Vattenfall’s requirements in Sweden and Germany and has an initial term of two-and-a-half years with an option to extend. Stockholm headquartered Vattenfall will order from Conrad’s extensive product range using Hubwoo – the online collaborative business network whose objective is to connect companies and enable more productive B2B commerce.

“We are delighted to be working so closely with such a leading name in the energy sector as Vattenfall,” comments Daniel Infanger, Manager, Conrad Scandinavia. “The fact that we have reached a frame agreement to supply components underlines the breadth of product range we can offer and the high level of service we can deliver.”

Vatenfall generates power in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region as well as numerous other European countries including Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
