Future Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with Republic of Ireland-based Taoglas which supplies a comprehensive range of external, embedded and base station antenna and RF solutions for IoT and M2M applications such as Telematics/Automotive, Smart Grid, Metering/Telemetry, Home Automation, Remote Monitoring and Medical applications.

Stadium Group has agreed to be acquired by TT Electronics in a £45.8million deal. Stadium Group directors say that while the business would have a strong independent future, they considered that the offer by TT provides shareholders with value at a level which adequately reflects both the quality of the Stadium business and its prospects.
Cressall, has signed a global distribution agreement RS Components (RS), that will see items from its range of resistors and portable load bank units from any of the 32 countries where RS operates. For the agreement with RS, Cressall has produced a range of high current adjustable resistor kits suitable for many high power applications.
The $500bn global semiconductor market is tantalisingly close. That’s the bullish forecast presented by Malcolm Penn CEO of market research company Future Horizons. He is predicting growth a tick over 21% in 2018 taking the market to within a whisker of $500bn, well, $499.9bn to be exact.
