Andrew Bryant has been named as Chief Operating Officer at Arrow Electronics. He is elevated to the position from his previous role heading up Arrow’s global enterprise solutions business, a position he took up on joining Arrow in 2008.
Bryant has over 30 years of experience in the technology distribution industry, and joined Arrow from Avnet where he held a series of senior executive positions.
Sean Kerins succeeds Bryant as president of the computer channel business and both he and Eric Schuck who heads up Arrow’s global components business will report to Bryant.
“Andy’s proven track record makes him the ideal executive to further advance our sales and marketing strength across our core businesses,” said Michael Long, Arrow’s Chief Executive Officer.
Kerins had served as president of the company’s North America enterprise computing solutions business since 2010.
“Succession planning is a critical part of our business at Arrow. Their leadership will advance our strategy of providing value-added solutions to our customers,” said Long.
