Citing the importance of a well-designed power supply, Avnet Electronics Marketing has launched Power Solutions, an educational video series designed to help design engineers optimise power architectures for advanced electronics products. The first video, Introduction to Power, is available now.
The biweekly online video series, hosted by Avnet Global Technical Marketing Engineer Chris Ammann, will address a variety of topics related to power supply design including testing, component selection, new technology overviews and new product introductions. Future videos will address battery charging, high voltage DC-DC conversion in industrial applications, and multi-output regulators.
“A well-designed power supply is a make-or-break issue for any electronic product,” said Ammann. “Avnet offers a large array of power solutions and services for design teams selecting and sourcing power supplies.
