Avnet Memec is strengthening its relationship with analogue and mixed-signal semiconductor specialist, Semtech Corp. Under the extended distribution agreement Avnet Memec will now provide technical and sales support for Semtech in the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions alongside the existing agreement for the rest of Europe.
“Avnet Memec has always brought high quality advanced components to our customers, backed by first-class technical design support,” said Stuart Edwards, technical manager for the UK and Ireland at Avnet Memec. “Semtech’s product range complements our technology strategy and the extension of our distribution agreement shows the success of our existing partnership.”
Alan Pritchard, Northern European sales manager for Semtech continued, “The technical team at Avnet Memec has successfully developed the European market for us and we are delighted to be extending our relationship with them. The entire European design community will now have access to our full range of leading power management, analogue and mixed signal components.”
