Astute Electronics has upgraded its distribution agreement with Amphenol Sine Systems to offer the connector company’s full range of products. The company supplies high-performance interconnect systems for a broad range of industrial markets including factory automation, motion control, heavy equipment, alternative energy, rail mass transportation and hybrid-electric vehicles.
Gary Evans, E-Mech Divisional Manager at Astute Electronics, thinks the Amphenol-Sine’s A Series plastic connectors will be of special interest to the distributor’s customer base. These include the AT, ATM, ATP and AHD Series which suit applications such as heavy duty equipment, agriculture, marine, automotive, military, alternative energy and other demanding interconnect applications.
He adds, “many devices in this family – for example the AT series – are compatible with existing industry standard parts but can be up to 10% more cost-effective.”
Other products available from Amphenol-Sine through Astute, include Economate rugged metal shielded connectors, Ecomate threaded plastic circular connectors, M8 and M12 waterproof connectors and distribution boxes and MotionGrade M23 and M40 circular DIN connectors.
