Touch sensor technology in public facing digital signage and self-service touch solutions is a burgeoning market and to to tap into it Arrow Electronics has announced a new EMEA agreement with visualplanet, a global manufacturer that commercialises and industrialises large format touch sensor technology. Its touchfoil products are deployed in a wide range of digital signage from real-time bus timetable information boards to mountain top way-finding kiosks.

Under this new agreement, Arrow will offer, across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, visualplanet’s touchfoil technology, a clear large format, projected capacitance, flexible film sensor that can be applied to glass and many other surfaces to add interactive touch capabilities. Under this agreement, Arrow OCS’ customers will benefit from visualplanet’s expertise in projected capacitive touch sensors and continued development of this technology.
