Arrow Electronics is now selling the ABLIC range of analogue semiconductors throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. ABLIC specialises in low-power components for applications, including automotive and smart appliances.

Jim Schlumpberger, managing director, ABLIC Europe GmbH, said, “Arrow Electronics has assembled a rich portfolio of technology and services for equipment makers. ABLIC is delighted to be part of this end-to-end solution and looks forward to working closely with the Arrow team in EMEA.”

ABLIC was spun out of Seiko Instruments and has a track record of successfully bringing to production analogue semiconductors that function extremely accurately while using only a small amount of energy.

The company has developed an extensive range of voltage regulators, temperature and magnetism sensors, timer and power supply ICs, and specialist components for automotive use. Current focus areas include power management ICs, sensors, timers, and amplifiers.

Matthias Hutter, vice president of product and supplier marketing in EMEA, Arrow Electronics, said, “Miniaturised, power-efficient, analogue semiconductor components are at the heart of many smart technologies, from IoT edge nodes to automotive battery protection devices. ABLIC, with its pedigree, has been developing these products for decades, and we are pleased to make this vast experience available to Arrow’s customers.”
