Arrow Electronics and Mouser Electronics are supporting a free one-day Technical Forum on Power and Power Management. The event takes place on October 22 at the Williams F1 Conference Centre at Grove, just south of Oxford.

The Forum looks at all aspects of the design cycle from PCB, thermal management, digital power system management, system architectures and design techniques, software control and power measurement and much more.
Expert speakers will impart in-depth knowledge in the afternoon workshops on an exhibiton area there is the chance to see the latest products as well as meet and chat with engineers from the leading manufacturers and suppliers of power solutions.

The morning session will comprise of up to 6 short technical presentations, topics already confirmed include “the principal benefits of digital power system management in reducing design cost and achieving a faster time to market” presented by Linear Technology. In power management applications the inductor choice has great impact on solution size and performance, Coilcraft will present and hold an interactive demonstration of a complete set of inductor selection and performance analysis tools for “Optimising Inductor Selection” . More topics will be confirmed.
The afternoon programme allows delegates to select their choice of 50 minute workshops from a range of manufacturers that will include Linear Technology with Arrow Electronics and Murata Power Solutions and more to be confirmed.

The event is supported with an informal networking and exhibitor area giving delegates a great opportunity to discuss their technical requirements with engineers from up to 20 of the leading suppliers and manufactures from the Power and Power management industry. Those already confirmed include Arrow Electronics, Codico, COSEL, Outsource Electronics, Murata Power Solutions, Yokogawa, Mouser, Coilcraft.
