Anglia adds M2M comms capability with Cinterion Anglia has signed a UK and Ireland distribution agreement with the world’s leading manufacturer of GSM and GPRS modules, Cinterion – formerly Siemens Wireless Modules. Under the deal, Anglia will provide sales, marketing and design support to promote Cinterion’s entire product range. The agreement further extends Anglia’s wireless portfolio, enabling it to offer design-in solutions for a rapidly expanding variety of machine-to-machine (M2M) applications making use of the mobile phone network. Applications include remote utility metering, fire and security system monitoring, e-tolls, secure transactions, POS terminals, asset tracking systems and mobile computers.
