America II Electronics has closed its first quarter by adding Excel Cell Electronic, Citizen Finetech Miyota, Kingstate Electronics, ADDA, Micro-C, and Chilisin Electronics to its global line card.
This flourish marks a strong quarter for the distributor’s supply chain development efforts, and its target of 100 new franchise lines this year. Servicing an array of industries including automotive, telecommunications, home automation, medical and lighting, these partnerships enable America II to offer more comprehensive solutions to the market. Furthermore, smaller OEMs now have the opportunity to capitalise on trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT).
“The expansion of our franchise capabilities has been a focal point for us this year,” said Brian Ellison, president at America II Electronics. “And this aggressive expansion is expected to continue as we see widespread customer support in our new lines. America II is providing the reliability that scheduled business requires, while continuing to offer our world-class value-added services.”
