Yageo’s high frequency CQ series of multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) featuring superior temperature characteristics and a capacitance range of 0.2 to 10pF with a narrow tolerance, is provided in EIA case sizes from 0201 to 0805. Rutronik distributes the capacitors with a temperature stable NPO dielectric.
High-Q capacitors (high quality factor capacitors) provide high Q (low dielectric loss), low power dissipation and a better efficiency than standard MLCCs. With improved low power consumption for mobile telecommunications, the CQ 0201 series has copper inner electrodes that allow for ESR (Equivalent Serial Resistance), ESL (Equivalent Serial Inductance) and high SRF (Self resonant Frequency) in UHF (300MHz-3GHz), SHF (3GHz-30GHz) and microwave frequency bands.
They have a rated working voltage from 16V-100V. With these features, they are ideal for applications with high frequencies from 500MHz to 10GHz, e.g. impedance matching, decoupling and resonance circuits as well as RF modules such as VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator), PA (Power Amplifier) and mobile communication. They all feature nickel barrier and tin plate finish and are compatible with lead-free reflow soldering processes.
