RS Components is now stocking a range of passive electronics devices from Panasonic Electronic Components in full reel quantities. More than 1000 surface-mount devices, primarily capacitors and resistors from the Panasonic portfolio of standard and custom electronic components, are now available to order from RS in industry-standard packaging for same-day despatch.
RS currently stocks in excess of 7000 passive devices from Panasonic. With the introduction of the industry-standard reels to the Panasonic offering, RS’ customers now have the option to order selected parts packaged in higher quantities of between 500 and 5000 pieces, in addition to existing RS packs.
“By introducing these Panasonic commodity devices in the manufacturer’s standard packaging we are giving customers greater choice and flexibility when sourcing and purchasing parts for their designs,” said Fred Knowles, Head of Product Management – Electronics at RS. “Our goal is to fulfil the product requirements of engineers at every stage of their project, from prototyping through to full production, with a single source offering that brings valuable time-saving benefits to the design process.”
