Rapid Electronics has signed a distribution agreement with coaxial connector, datavoice component and cable assembly manufacturer Telegärtner UK.
Janice Ratcliffe , E-Mech Product Manager at Rapid Electronics said: “I am delighted that Rapid is offering products by Telegärtner, which leads the market in coaxial connectors and cable assembly solutions. We supply 80 lines from stock at present and can also offer customers access to the complete range of Telegärtner products if customers have requirements beyond this.”
The Telegärtner coaxial connector range offers a variety of connector types in RF and microwave environments, each designed for a specific purpose and application.
Products include BNC, SMA/SMB and N series plugs, sockets and adaptors. All products offer strict adherence to international standards, and are of the highest quality and performance.
Telegärtner also offers the customer a total solution for all structured cabling within office buildings, production sites and machines, long distance networks, data centres or home networks.
Among the products Rapid will be stocking are the shielded MFP8 RJ45 plugs for Cat 6a cables, designed as a fast assembly solution for engineers in the field.
No specialist tools are required for connecting the plug with the cable, and connections can be made with all standard 5.5-10mm diameter cable types, even with transfer rates of up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
Due to its compact design and suitability for multiport applications, the MFP8 Cat 6a is ideal for use in confined spaces.
