Rapid Electronics is introducing the Voltcraft range of test equipment to the UK for the first time. 
Established in Germany in 1982, Voltcraft has a product range ideal for both entry level and experienced users. The products now available at Rapid include infrared thermometers, digital hand held and desktop multimeters, clamp meters, sound level meters and bench power supplies, and Rapid will be adding to the range in the coming months.
One of the key Voltcraft products is the IR-SCAN-350RH Infrared thermometer, which allows for the contact-free scanning of interior surfaces for mould and damp. Identifying moisture in walls, ceilings and floors in its earliest stages, the IR-SCAN records ambient temperature, ambient humidity, dew point temperature and surface temperature to an accuracy of ± 3.5 degC. Also available is the MT-52 CAT III 600V Digital Multimeter, a value solution for measuring DC and AC up to 10A, resistance values up to 40MOhms, capacitance measurement to 100μF and frequency up to 10MHz.
