Mantracourt Electronics the Exeter, UK-based electronic instrumentation manufacturer has appointed Elexsys as a technical partner for the sales, support and distribution of its range of wired and wireless instrumentation products in South Africa.

Elexsys is a leading supplier of measurement technology in sub-Saharan Africa, serving such industries as agriculture and mining. Formed in 2001, its directors have been involved in the South African industrial weighing sector for over 35 years.

UK based Mantracourt designs and manufactures instrumentation for measurement technologies such as load cells and strain gauge amplifiers, which are used widely in industries such as Civil Engineering, Construction and Lifting and Handling. Its products are recognised worldwide for their quality, accuracy and Mantracourt’s high level of customer support and technical assistance.

Elexsys primarily services enquiries from South Africa and its neighbouring countries (Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia) but also deals with customers in other sub-Saharan African countries, from Zambia and Angola up to Kenya. The company supplies measurement solutions into agriculture, mining, automotive manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, construction, and test/research environments (such as SALT, the CSIR and local universities).
