The latest range of DC film capacitors from Kemet is now available from TTI, Inc. After a complete redesign, DC film capacitors from Kemet offer maximum performance and are now the most miniaturized devices currently on the market today.

New DC film capacitors from Kemet are ideal for use in imaging equipment (CT, MRI, etc), test equipment for medical, industrial and instrumentation, solar/wind inverters, mobile base stations and data storage systems.

F461-464 series single metalized polypropylene film capacitors feature a rated voltage of 160 up to 2.500VDC and 90 up to 900VAC. Lead spacing is 5 up to 37.5mm and the capacitance tolerance is ±5%; ±10% (with other tolerances available on request). The devices have been designed for a category temperature range of -55 up to +105degrees Celsius. Rated temperature is +85 degrees Celsius.

F861 series class X2 capacitors have a rated voltage of 310VAC 50/60Hz, a capacitance range of 0.001 up to 45μF, lead spacing of 7.5 up to 52.5mm, and a capacitance tolerance of ±20%, ±10% (±5% on request). The components meet ENEC, UL, cUL and CQC specifications, have been designed for an operating temperature range of -40 up to +110 degrees Celsius and have passed a 100% screening factory test at 1.900VDC.

F871 series class X1 capacitors benefit from a rated voltage of 330VAC 50/60Hz, a capacitance range of 0.001 up to 12μF, lead spacing of 10 up to 37.5mm, and a capacitance tolerance of ±20%, ±10% (±5% on request). The components meet ENEC, UL, cUL and CQC specifications, have been designed for an operating temperature range of -40 up to +110 degrees Celsius and have passed a 100% screening factory test at 2.500VDC.

F872 series class X1 capacitors feature a rated voltage of 480VAC 50/60Hz, a capacitance range of 0.001 up to 5.6μF, lead spacing of 10 up to 37.5mm, and a capacitance tolerance of ±20%, ±10% (±5% on request). The components meet ENEC, UL, cUL and CQC specifications, have been designed for an operating temperature range of -40 up to +110 degrees Celsius and have passed a 100% screening factory test at 3.000VDC.

F873 series polypropylene metalized film class X1 capacitors have a rated voltage of 760VAC 50/60Hz, a capacitance range of 0.01 up to 1.8μF, lead spacing of 22.5 up to 37.5mm, and a capacitance tolerance of ±20%, ±10% (±5% on request). The components meet ENEC, UL, cUL and CQC specifications, have been designed for an operating temperature range of -40 up to +110 degrees Celsius and have passed a 100% screening factory test at 4.250VDC.

F881 series class Y2 capacitors benefit from a rated voltage of 300VAC 50/60Hz, a capacitance range of 0.01 up to 1.0μF, lead spacing of 22.5 up to 37.5mm, and a capacitance tolerance of ±20%, ±10% (±5% on request). The components meet ENEC, UL, cUL and CQC specifications, have been designed for an operating temperature range of -40 up to +110 degrees Celsius and have passed a 100% screening factory test at 4.000VDC and 2500VAC.

All DC film capacitors from Kemet are fully RoHS compliant and feature lead-free terminations. The components are shipped taped and reeled in accordance with IEC 60286–2.
