Memory and data storage distributor Jactron which has operated as the Industrial Division of Simms International since its acquisition in 2008 is to be amalgamated into the Simms brand from September 1.
The company will continue to serve customers supplying industrial grade memory and data storage modules to the aerospace, defence, transportation, energy and telecommunications industries.
A new website – www. Simms.co.uk – will be launched on September 1. This will amalgamate the current Jactron and Simms product portfolios which will now supply data and storage solutions across commercial, enterprise and industrial sectors.
One new addition to the portfolio is the Apricorn range of FIPS 140-2 USB encrypted storage devices ranging from 4GB to 8TB capacity. Simms International has been appointed sole UK distributor.
