Aerco has been appointed as a stocking distributor by FCT, the leading German, D-type connector manufacturer in an appointment that recognises Aerco’s success in the growth of FCT’s UK business over the past seven years.
Aerco will support the UK market by holding stock, offering low or no MOQs, providing a high level of technical support and providing samples of the wide range of D-type connectors manufactured by FCT.
The FCT range includes power, coaxial, signal and PCB contacts in standard, mixed layout and high density formats and serves the medical, military, telecommunications, aerospace, instrumentation, broadcast and industrial markets.
Alec Sluce, Aerco’s connector product manager, says of the appointment: “At Aerco we are strong in the markets that are the prime target areas for FCT and the company’s reputation for high quality D-type connectors will be complementary and will strengthen our already extensive connector product range.”
