Photon Power Technology has extended it range of Fanless Power Supplies from the highly respected Taiwanese manufacturer, Magic Power. New models include the 400W MPI-U400 series and the 220W MPI-822H 1U ATX Power Supply. Using thermal management techniques gained over many years, Magic Power now offers an extremely comprehensive range of Fanless ATX and single output power supplies in 1U format ranging from 60W to 300W.
All models are fully compliant and feature high efficiency fanless design for higher system reliability and lower noise. Based around a thermally efficient U-channel measuring only 198x98x41, the MPI-U400 series features an active PFC to meet IEC61000-2 /3-3. Other features include remote voltage sense, adjustable output (+/-10%) and universal input. A UPS charger module is also available for systems where battery backup is required. The MPI-400U series is available in 12V or 24V versions and will provide 400W continuously at temperatures up to 50°C and will operate at full power up to 70°C with additional fan cooling.
The MPI-822H builds on Magic Power’s impressive array of 1U Fanless ATX/ITX Power Supplies and offers full ATX compatibility. To keep up with the latest industry demands, the MPI-822H consumes less that 0.5W when on standby. Again using a thermally efficient U Channel design, the MPI-822H will operate up to 170W convection cooled and 200W with fan cooling. The active PFC ensures continuous operation from 96V to 264VAC supplies and meets EN61000-3 for line harmonics and EN 55022 class B for EMI. The MPI-822H joins an extensive range of Fanless ATX power supplies for both industrial and medical applications ranging from 60 Watts to 300 Watts with both AC and DC input versions available.
