EBV Elektronik has rolled its EBVchips and EBVsolutions activities into a new department called Product Innovations. The distributors says that this move will allow it to utilise many synergies and to further improve efficiency for both programmes. Although combining efforts and the team, the well-established brand names of EBVchips and EBVsolutions will remain unchanged.
The new Product Innovations team is managed by Dr. Eckart Voskamp, Director Product Innovations, reporting to Thomas Staudinger, VP Marketing EBV Elektronik.
“By combining these forces and especially the know-how we will be able to enhance and improve both programmes”, comments Dr. Eckart Voskamp. “With EBVchips we create, market and invest in our own products. Within EBVsolutions we create platforms to show-case innovative products of our suppliers to our customers. Using the synergy of both will enable us to provide the expertise to our customers helping them to find the right solution and to bring their products faster to the market. Furthermore it will also enhance and intensify our relationship with suppliers and partners by collaborating to develop these products and solutions.”
