Stefan Fuchs, a 20-year veteran of the industry has been named as General Manager, Germany for Conrad Business Supplies. He has been head of B2B purchasing at the German-based distributor since 1999.
Fuchs will spearhead Conrad’s continued penetration of the B2B market in the electronics and engineering sectors.
Since 2012 the company has massively increased the quantity and variety of products available especially in the components, development kits, measurement technology areas. Today there are over 500,000 products available.
There will be no let-up. Conrad plans to invest heavily in capabilities and facilities such as its ESD safe handling area, and offering customers higher product availability coupled with higher reliability and quality.
Replacing Stefan Fuchs in the Head of Purchasing role is Michael Schlagenhaufer. He has been at Conrad since 1991 and has spent the last 11 years as Senior Product Manager for Measurement Technology. He will report to Fuchs, who in turn reports to Holger Ruban, President Business Supplies, Conrad Electronic.
