RS Components has appointed industry veteran Kurt Colehower as President RS Private Label. He will be responsible for developing a strategy to grow the RS-branded product range around the world. This will include expanding the size and reach of the portfolio to further the benefits it offers to both customers and suppliers.
Colehower joins RS from Arrow Electronics where he was President of the Americas Components Group. He also held senior positions at Solectron.
Kurt commented: “There is a significant opportunity to grow the RS-branded product range around the world and extend the benefits that it offers to both our customers, suppliers and to the overall business. RS Components has been selling its own high-quality products at a fair price for 78 years and we want to continue that legacy and create a truly global range. I’m excited to be joining such a world-leading organisation.”
The RS-branded range comprises over 38,000 products. It covers a broad selection of both industrial products and electronic components. RS Components says that Colehower’s appointment demonstrates RS’ commitment to providing choice across its product range, and offers another opportunity for the company to work more closely with its suppliers.
