Digi-Key Corporation Announces Stock of Phoenix Contact’s PTSM and PTPM Series of Connector Systems

Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry’s broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment, today announced the addition of Phoenix Contact’s PTSM and PTPM miniature connector series to its expansive product line.

Phoenix Contact’s PTSM and PTPM connectors are now available for purchase on Digi-Key’s global websites.

The PTSM is the smallest spring-cage fixed terminal block in the industry and comes in both through-hole reflow and true surface mount. A simple PUSH-IN can be used for solid wire applications. Despite the PTSM’s small 5 mm size, it is capable of passing 5 Amps and 150 Volts.

The PTPM provides a special connection to PTSM headers as an insulation piercing contact, capable of transmitting up to 4 Amps. A tool-less termination makes this product suitable for almost any installer.

These new additions to Digi-Key’s online catalog offer reliable connections and are best utilized for space-limited applications such as small fans, compact power supplies, and LED connections.
