Anglia Components has added a custom design service for transformers, inductors and other magnetics following the completion of a UK and Ireland distributor agreement with Elettronica Rossoni.
The Italy-based company is a newcomer to the UK market, and Anglia will also market the company’s standard product range.
According to David Pearson, Technical Director at Anglia Components, “As customers seek to optimise the efficiency and maximise the performance of power supplies and other areas of their designs, there is a growing demand for custom inductors and transformers tailored to the specific requirements of the individual circuit. Our partnership with Elettronica Rossoni allows us to address that requirement. Their vertically integrated manufacturing, which encompasses the wiring as well as the plastic and metal parts of their components, gives them very close control over the quality of their output.”
He added, “Elettronica Rossoni has a 27-strong specialist engineering team based in Italy, allowing close and effective collaboration at the design stage. They have manufacturing facilities in Italy, Romania and China to give flexible and cost-effective manufacturing for small, medium and large volumes.”

The agreement also covers the standard range of Elettronica Rossoni inductors, chokes and transformers.
