Anglia has significantly strengthened and enhanced its circuit protection portfolio with its appointment as UK and Ireland distributor by Littelfuse, a global leader in circuit protection.
Littelfuse is enthused by the opportunities Anglia offers in vertical markets, especially outdoor lighting where protection devices are vital.
The deal will give Littelfuse access to a wider customer base, a point confirmed by Paul Turner, EMEA Sales Manager at Littelfuse. “We realised there are segments of the UK market that we were not addressing and this was holding back our growth. It became clear that Anglia is very much engaged with these segments. The focus and energy that we see at Anglia gives us confidence that we can now address these segments and mutually enjoy accelerated growth.”
The announcement gives Anglia customers access not only to Littelfuse cartridge and surface-mount fuses, resettable fuses and fuse holders, but also to its suppression products such as Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV’s), Gas Discharge Tubes (GDT), TVS Diodes and Arrays and SIDACtors.
Littelfuse magnetic sensors and reed switches, as well as the power semiconductor range encompassing IGBT, Rectifier and Thyristor modules, Schottky diodes, Ultrafast rectifiers and Silicon Carbide (SiC) diodes will also be supported.
